We are proud to announce that this year we are teaming up with the Bailey Matthews charity ‘Be More Bailey’
An eight-year-old boy with cerebral palsy who completed his first triathlon unaided has been presented with the Helen Rollason Award at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year show. Matthews, from Doncaster, competed in the children’s event at Castle Howard in North Yorkshire in July, swimming 100m, riding a bike for 4km and running for 1.3km.
We were lucky enough to meet Bailey this week when he came along to see one of our Changing Places Units before it heads off to it’s new home.
Here’s more about this incredible young man and his story.
